Simon Beraud is a European photographer.
Focusing on a psychological type of photography, his work translates questions that are intrinsic to existing as a human in society : questions of identity, belonging, roots, cultural heritage, memory, love…
From his subjective point of view, always expressing a sense of intimacy and of empathy with the subject, he invites the viewer to find resonances with the thoughts and emotions that animate his work. A work which, ultimately - throughout the shadows, shapes and lights - rushes a sense of homage to life and people.
