Turned towards human psychology, the work of Simon Beraud translates questions intrinsic to the fact of existing in society, on Earth : questions of identity, roots and uprooting, cultural heritage, memory, love. His images, he expresses a sense of homage through them : a homage to the lights and the shadows, to the women and the men, to the places and to the spaces he goes through. From a subjective point of view - always searching for a sense of intimacy and of empathy with the subject - he invites the viewer to find resonances with the feelings and thoughts that animate his work.
He’s based in Paris.
